Michigan Lutheran Sem selects new president

The Rev. Joel Petermann has been appointed president of Michigan Lutheran Seminary (MLS), Saginaw, Michigan. MLS is one of two Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) preparatory high schools operated by the WELS. The position has been vacant since September 2010.

Petermann currently serves as pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Amherst, New Hampshire, and president of the North Atlantic District. He will gradually transition into his new position until the North Atlantic District elects a new president this summer.

MLS is a feeder school for Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minnesota.
