Free Lutherans give Lee another term

ALFC convention met in Williston, North Dakota

The Association of Free Lutheran Congregations (AFLC) re-elected the Rev. Robert L. Lee president during its annual conference.
Meeting June 13-17 at Williston, North Dakota, the assembly gave Lee 92% of all votes cast on the first ballot. Lee, a resident of Crystal, Minnesota, has led the 27,000-member denomination since 1992.
Also re-elected were Vice-president Elden Nelson, Willmar, Minnesota, and Secretary Brian Davidson, Hopkins, Minnesota.
During the convention the Plymouth-based AFLC received 14 new congregations into the 250 congregation association.
