Free Lutheran Bible School women hoopsters are champs

Men’s team from the same Plymouth, Minnesota school were in finals.

The Lady Conquerors of the Association Free Lutheran Bible School (AFLBS), Plymouth, Minnesota, won the national NBCAA basketball championship in Oklahoma City on March 13. They fin-ished their regular season 22-1, then defeated three op-ponents in the Na-tional Bible College Athletic Association tournament. In the championship game they prevailed over Dallas Christian College, 82-67.
The men’s team also reached the finals, losing the championship game to Providence, 81-53.
AFLBS is a college-level ministry institute located in Plymouth, Minnesota. Owned and operated by the Association of Free Lutheran Congre-gations, it enrolls 140 students.
