The Joint Religious Legislative Coalition and Downtown Congregations to End Homelessness, a group of central city congregations in Minneapolis, co-hosted a governor candidate’s forum focusing on the question: “How do our values inform our response to the basic needs of jobs, housing and health care?” Approximately 350 people attended the event, held at Temple Israel in Minneapolis on May 24. Participating candidates were Bob Carney, Jr., Leslie Davis, Mark Dayton, Matt Entenza, Rob Hahn, Tom Horner, Margaret Anderson Kelliher, and John Uldrich. All major party candidates were invited to participate.
