Metro Lutheran newspaper launches reworked Web site

According to Jason Scherschligt, chair of Metro Lutheran’s editorial committee, the pan-Lutheran newspaper must increasingly see itself as an information service more than as simply a print publication. In its first step in reinventing itself as a multi-media organization, Metro Lutheran has upgraded its Web site significantly, explained editor Bob Hulteen.
Neuger Communications, a Northfield-based communications agency owned by David Neuger, chair of Metro Lutheran’s finance committee, offered the experience of his staff pro bono for the Web site’s development.
“Readers who are connected to the Internet should visit to find a much more user-friendly product,” said Hulteen. “And, the good news is that it’s only the first step. Be ready for future upgrades.”
