New chapel dedicated at Martin Luther College
The Chapel of the Christ at Martin Luther College (MLC), New Ulm, Minnesota, was dedicated on April 10. The 20,000 square-foot building, which seats about 1,000 people, was completed in March.
“[The chapel] is a visible reminder not only that Christ is the center of our campus, of our studies, and of our students’ preparation, but it is also a reminder of Christ’s goodness to us,” said the Rev. Mark Zarling, president of MLC. The chapel and organ were funded from individual gifts and gifts given as part of the Synod’s 150th anniversary thank offering in 2000.
