Ecolab exec to address “power of purpose” at Thrivent event

Douglas M. Baker, Jr., chairman, president, and CEO of Ecolab, Inc., will deliver a keynote address on bringing the power of purpose to the workplace at the Thrivent Financial Business Leaders Forum on Wednesday, June 1.
Baker joined Ecolab in 1989, following seven years at Procter & Gamble. At Ecolab, he has held roles in marketing, sales and general management.
The forum is designed to offer area business leaders the opportunity to hear leading business executives discuss the integration of values and faith in their business decisions and organizations.
Baker’s address will take place at the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Auditorium, 625 Fourth Avenue South, in downtown Minneapolis. The event includes a light breakfast (7:15 a.m.), Baker’s remarks (8:00 a.m.), and a brief question-and-answer session (8:40 a.m.).
