Finding safety at Camp Noah
After a week at LSS’ Camp Noah talking about the many feelings experienced following the May 22 North Minneapolis tornado, Yatarrie Brown tells the crowd at the camp’s closing celebration that he can now talk about the fact that his “house was torn down” after the disaster. More than 100 children participated in the Minneapolis Camp Noah August 8-12 at three different Lutheran congregations — St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Jordan New Life Community Church, and Salem Lutheran Church — all in north Minneapolis. Funding for Camp Noah was provided by the Lutheran Community Fund‘s Disaster Response Fund and by Lutheran Disaster Response.
