Sometimes it’s 'rough' to raise money

On a beautiful, sunny August day, 68 members of King of Kings Lutheran Church (ELCA), Woodbury, Minnesota, met at Oak Marsh Golf Course to help raise money for Friends of Africa Education (FOAE) to build additional classrooms at St. Margaret’s Academy, Tanzania, and Uluthe High School, Kenya. King of Kings has been helping FOAE to improve the lives of children and youth in sub-Saharan Africa for about 11 years. Members and staff, including Eric Engh (right) stepped up to the tee by organizing, volunteering, attending the dinner, or playing golf. Proceeds from this year’s event totaled over $30,000.00.
