Caught reading in the Luther Garden, Wittenberg

Photo provided by Arden Haug

The Rev. Arden Haug (third from left), the ELCA’s regional representative to Europe, was attending a tree planting in the Luther Garden at Wittenberg Castle in preparation for the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, when he decided to share some news about Lutherans in the Twin Cities. He proves the dictum: Metro Lutheran — don’t leave home without it. For more information about the planting of these trees, see “Luther Seminary one of eight U.S. sponsors to plant a Reformation Garden Tree,” Metro Lutheran, December 2012, page 16.
