Caught reading with the Roma people in Slovakia
While serving in the ELCA’s Young Adults in Global Ministry program in Panické Dravce in Slovakia, Amanda Meyer, a member of Jacob’s Well, Minneapolis, worked with the underprivileged Roma (Gypsy) population. Although Jacob’s Well is only five years old as an ELCA congregation, Meyer is its third participant in this overseas program.
