Holden Village offers Living Liturgy experience

Musicians and liturgists from throughout the country will converge on Holden Village June 4-8 for a special four-day workshop, “Living Liturgy: Worship and a Way of Life.” The workshop is designed to give congregational worship leaders an opportunity to experience, explore, and reflect on ways to help their communities pray with power, integrity, and meaning.
Holden alumni, including Susan Briehl, former Holden director; Ben Stewart, former pastor; and former musicians-in-residence Marty Haugen and Tom Witt, will return to the Village. Workshops will range from worship history and congregational singing to baptism as a process of welcome and renewal, as well as “green” funerals.
For information or to register, go to the Holden website: www.holdenvillage.org/. Mention this event in the “Notes” section on the reservation.
