For the fourth time in its 150-year history, the King and Queen of Sweden visited Gustavus Adolphus College on Friday, October 5. Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf (second from right) and Queen Silvia (second from left) of Sweden, along with Jack Ohle, college president, and first lady Kris Ohle, participate in a public worship at Christ Chapel. A combined choir leads the congregation in worship just before the dedication of the college’s new Sesquicentennial Plaza, which is situated directly west of Christ Chapel.
